The Bible is at the core of Christian Science. The first tenet of Christian Science reads, "As adherents of Truth, we take the inspired Word of the Bible as our sufficient guide to eternal Life." Christian Scientists love the Bible and its lessons. It is only fitting then that our church would have many avenues for learning and growing in our understanding of the scriptures.

We hold monthly Bible Story times, where selected stories from the Bible are read and enjoyed. There is no age limit at these story times, the childlike heart is always welcome, and most attendees are adults. We also hold Bible workshops, where Bible scholars share their insights into the history of the book, its translations, its discoveries and its growth.

Learning to know the Bible better and learning to feel and live its inspired Word is an active goal of Pure In Heart. All avenues for accomplishing this goal are explored.
